Your initial visit will take between an hour and half to two hours. If you would like, you may schedule a free 20 minute consultation prior to your initial visit to ask any questions you may have, or to see if Chinese Medicine is right for you.
Relax as much as possible for the rest of the day. Eat lightly, and avoid vigorous exercise and alcohol.
Give yourself at least 24 hours after the treatment before determining how your body responded to acupuncture. Sometimes right after treatment people feel exhausted or their pain has increases but when they wake up the next morning they feel better than they have in years.
